Job summary

Cornerstone Caregiving in Decatur, AL is seeking an Assistant Operating Director (AOD), a key leadership role and second-in-command to the Operating Director. You will lead in-office operations, oversee scheduling, support staff development, and ensure client care quality.

You will onboard and train office managers, conduct weekly 1:1s, manage on‑call rotations, and handle documentation. The role requires autonomous leadership, strong organization, and excellent communication to support

Qualifications

• Experience leading in-office operations and staff development.
• Background in healthcare or home care leadership preferred.
• Ability to hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-office operations and scheduling oversight.
• Coach and support in‑office staff; reinforce standards and culture.
• Onboard and train new office managers for consistent performance.
• Conduct weekly 1:1 check-ins and performance reviews.
• Share on‑call rotation with office leadership and manage documentation.
• Oversee client scheduling and ensure care quality; respond to escalations.
• Back up for client assessments when needed.
