Job summary

Ambrosia QSR in Tigard, OR is seeking an Assistant Manager to support daily restaurant operations and serve as the GM's right hand. The role requires open availability and full-time hours, with shifts complementing the General Manager’s schedule.

You will recruit and train staff, supervise service quality, and ensure strict compliance with food safety and labor regulations while fostering a positive, growth-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Serv Safe training and certification are required.
• Experience with a POS system is required.
• 1–2 years of hands-on food or retail management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and develop team members according to training plans and procedures.
• Coordinate pre-shift meetings and safety committee discussions.
• Lead with guest-first mindset and deliver outstanding service.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (break laws, minor employment laws, safety, sick leave, timekeeping, scheduling).
• Maintain a safe, inclusive work environment and report concerns to GM or HR.
