Job summary

Ambrosia QSR in Vancouver, WA is hiring an Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a single restaurant. You will lead staff, train and coach team members, and ensure guest-first service.

Open availability and full-time scheduling align with the General Manager’s needs. You will oversee compliance with food safety, labor laws, and company policies, while maintaining POS operations and inventory.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ensure compliance with required training per local, state, and federal laws and company policies
• Maintain a working cell phone and communicate via text, phone calls and emails
• Intermediate or higher proficiency in Microsoft 365
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate and develop people

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and develop team members to meet goals and follow procedures
• Coordinate pre-shift meetings and safety committee discussions
• Lead by example with a guest-first mindset and exceptional service
• Ensure compliance with regulations including break laws, safety, and scheduling
• Maintain a safe, inclusive work environment and report concerns to GM/HR
