Gap in Sioux Falls is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the tone for the store and lead the team to bring our brand to life for customers. You’ll be responsible for driving profitable sales growth through all aspects of the store, including customer and product operations, merchandising, and talent development.

Working with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager, you will coach Leads, Experts and Brand Associates to build a high-performing team that delivers a best-in-class

Qualifications

• 1-3 years retail management experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor a diverse team.
• Aptitude for using retail tech and store systems.

Responsibilities

• Set the tone for the store and lead the team to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
• Drive profitable sales growth through customer and product operations, merchandising, and talent development.
• Support execution of the store strategy to meet performance goals.
• Collaborate with the GM/AGM to coach Leads, Experts and Brand Associates.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associates and Experts.
• Own assigned area of responsibility and ensure standards are met.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties and uphold SOPs.
• Represent the brand and stay aware of the retail landscape.
