Popeyes is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Chicago to support daily operations, coach staff, and deliver exceptional guest experiences with a heart for hospitality.

The AGM will lead shifts, manage labor and costs, and drive profitability while maintaining brand standards and safety. This role requires people-first leadership and a hands-on approach in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of restaurant or retail management experience.
• People-first leadership style.
• Strong communication and decision-making skills.
• Experience with labor and food cost management preferred.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of daily restaurant operations, from front counter to back of house.
• Lead shifts with confidence—ensuring speed, accuracy, and guest satisfaction.
• Coach, develop, and motivate team members to hit service and performance goals.
• Monitor food quality, safety standards, and cleanliness.
• Assist in managing labor, food costs, and profitability.
• Respond to guest feedback and resolve concerns with care.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, and safety procedures.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.
