Job summary

Popeyes is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to partner with the Restaurant General Manager in Illinois. You will lead shifts, coach crew, and ensure outstanding guest experiences with our iconic Southern hospitality.

Bring 3–5 years of restaurant management, a people-first leadership style, and strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Flexibility for weekends and holidays is essential to keep our operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in restaurant or retail management (QSR experience is a plus)

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of daily restaurant operations, from the front counter to the back of house
• Lead shifts with confidence—ensuring speed, accuracy, and top-tier guest experiences
• Coach, develop, and motivate team members to hit service and performance goals
• Monitor food quality, safety standards, and cleanliness
• Assist in managing labor, food costs, and profitability
• Respond to guest feedback and resolve concerns with care
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, and safety procedures and other duties assigned
• Help with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members
