Popeyes in Illinois is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support the Restaurant General Manager in daily operations, coach the crew, and deliver the legendary Southern hospitality Popeyes is known for. This role leads shifts, drives guest experience, helps manage labor and costs, and ensures food safety and brand standards.

You will hire, onboard, and train new team members in a fast-paced, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of restaurant or retail management experience.
• Hands-on, lead-by-example leadership style.
• Strong communication and guest service focus.
• Ability to manage labor and costs.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of daily restaurant operations, from the front counter to the back of house.
• Lead shifts with confidence - ensuring speed, accuracy, and top-tier guest experiences.
• Coach, develop, and motivate team members to hit service and performance goals.
• Monitor food quality, safety standards, and cleanliness.
• Assist in managing labor, food costs, and profitability.
• Respond to guest feedback and resolve concerns with care.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, and safety procedures and other duties assigned.
• Help with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.
