SONIC Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in day-to-day operations and ensure a clean, safe, and efficient restaurant experience for guests. You will lead a team, drive guest satisfaction, and manage inventory, labor, and food cost while upholding SONIC standards.

You will open or close as needed, train staff, and ensure excellent customer service, with emphasis on safety, compliance, and a positive work environment. We value reliability and team leadership.

Formación

• Six months of restaurant management (QSR) experience or one year of entry-level retail management, including supervising shifts.
• Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• General knowledge and understanding of the restaurant industry or retail operations.
• Excellent communication skills; basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work with autonomy; multitask and problem-solve.
• Willingness to abide by appearance, uniform and hygiene standards at SONIC.

• Hire, train, supervise, manage, direct and develop staff to deliver a SuperSONIC experience.
• Make every guest a repeat customer by ensuring satisfaction.

• Create an upbeat, positive atmosphere during shifts.
• Manage major areas: food, paper, labor and guest service.
• Perform opening and/or closing duties as needed.
• Monitor staffing, inventory and food cost; adjust as needed.
• Complete weekly inventory as needed.
• Assist with admin duties, including maintaining files and documentation.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve guest complaints.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards and comply with laws.
• Relentlessly adhere to federal, state and local regulations.
