Potbelly is seeking an Assistant Manager in Florida to co-lead the shop, train and coach teams, and ensure smooth daily operations. You will hire, schedule, and mentor staff, while upholding food safety and guest satisfaction standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years management experience in a restaurant or retail environment preferred.
• Must pass Food Safety Certification.
• You must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to write schedules and manage labor goals.
• Able to stand 8–9 hours and work 45 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop Potbelly Associates and Shift Leaders.
• Interview and hire Associates and Shift Leaders.
• Maintain a Good Vibes culture to attract and retain staff.
• Schedule Associates, Trainers and Shift Leaders.
• Ensure security procedures and back-of-house standards are followed.
• Drive shop marketing and promotions to maximize sales.
