Job summary

Burger King is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily operations in Flint, MI. You will partner with the RGM to drive profitability, guest satisfaction, and team development while supervising 20-45 staff.

You will manage inventory, orders, asset lists, and facility maintenance, ensuring cash controls and brand standards are met. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required, 2 years of college preferred
• 1-2 years of previous quick service restaurant experience, experience in management preferred
• Some understanding of P&L interpretation and management to influence profitability
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Demonstrated understanding of guest service principles
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed

Responsibilities

• Manages profitability through inventory inspections and cost controls.
• Places and receives inventory truck orders and maintains asset lists.
• Ensures preventative maintenance and facility/equipment upkeep with vendors.
• Maintains cash control procedures and security standards.
• Directs team to deliver fast, friendly and accurate service in a clean facility.
• Coaches shifts coordinators and team members to raise performance.
• Directs restaurant operations to ensure speed and accuracy in product prep and sales.
• Performs duties of Hourly Shift Coordinator when necessary
