Job summary

Burger King is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily operations, driving profitability, guest service, and people development at a single restaurant. The AM supports the Restaurant General Manager and manages a team of 20-45 employees.

The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of P&L, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. It is based in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment with brand standards and inventory oversight.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• HS Diploma or GED; 2 years of college preferred.
• 1–2 years of quick service restaurant experience; management preferred.
• Understanding of P&L and profitability.
• Demonstrated leadership and guest service skills.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitability through inventory cost control and regular inspections.
• Oversee guest service with accurate, fast, and friendly operation in a clean facility.
• Coach and develop Shifts Coordinators and Team Members to raise restaurant performance.
• Direct restaurant team toward efficient prep and sale of products within speed of service guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with operational and brand standards; perform duties of Hourly Shift Coordinator when necessary.
