Job summary

Burger King Corporation is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, drive profitability, guest service, and people development. The AM supports the Restaurant General Manager and directly manages 20–45 hourly staff, including Shift Coordinators and Team Members.

In this role you will monitor inventory, coordinate orders, ensure cash controls, uphold brand standards, and coach the team to deliver fast, friendly service while meeting safety and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required; 2 years of college preferred.
• 1–2 years of quick service restaurant experience; management experience preferred.
• Some understanding of P&L interpretation and profitability influence.
• Demonstrated leadership and guest service skills.
• Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Owns profitability through inventory management, ordering, and cost control.
• Manages inventory inspections daily, weekly, and monthly and places/receives truck orders.
• Maintains asset lists and ensures preventative maintenance with vendors as needed.
• Oversees cash control procedures and safe/count accuracy.
• Motivates and directs staff to deliver fast, friendly service and guest satisfaction.
• Coaches shifts Coordinators and team members to raise restaurant performance and ensure brand standards.
