Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee gym operations and ensure an exceptional Judgement Free member experience while driving club profitability.

The role is full-time (40 hours/week) with a schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities include sales, staff recruitment and training, guest services, front desk oversight, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for helping others and delivering excellent service.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing gym operations to ensure a top-notch member experience.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing staff.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests; uphold superior customer service.
• Schedule and supervise staff; provide backup support to Club Manager.
• Oversee front desk activities including member check-ins, tours, and inquiries.
• Assist in maintaining facility cleanliness and supplies within budget.
• Track weekly, monthly, and annual statistics and reports.
