Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee gym operations and deliver a welcoming Judgement Free Zone for members. This role emphasizes staff recruitment, training, and delivering exceptional service while supporting the Club Manager to drive financial performance.

The position is full-time with a 40-hour week and may require evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs. CPR certification is appreciated, and strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for helping others.
• Commitment to excellent service.
• Previous management experience is preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
• Current CPR Certification preferred.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Confident problem-solver.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to club monthly and yearly goals.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing a high performing staff.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all members, guests and staff and ensure service guidelines are followed.
• Provide backup support to Club Manager and assist in scheduling staff.
• Oversee front desk activities including member check-ins and tours.
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the facility and manage supplies within budget.
• Track statistics and reports on a weekly, monthly and annual basis.
