Planet Fitness is hiring an Assistant Manager to help oversee gym operations and ensure a standing judgment-free member experience while driving financial success. You will lead front-desk activities, recruit and train staff, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a passion for service. Full-time hours include evenings, weekends, and holidays to support business needs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for helping others.
• Commitment to excellent service.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Confident problem-solver.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals; contribute to club monthly and yearly goals.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing a high performing staff.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests and ensure staff follows superior customer service guidelines.
• Provide backup support to Club Manager and assist in scheduling and supervising staff.
• Oversee front desk activities: answer phones, check members in, sign up new members, and conduct tours.
• Support cleanliness and maintenance of the facility and manage supplies within budget.
