Job summary

Build-A-Bear Workshop in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Full Time Assistant Manager for the Friendly Center location. You will support the store manager in daily operations, guest service, staff management, and executing sales and marketing strategies to drive the Experience First culture.

Responsibilities include scheduling, hiring and promoting team members, coaching Bear Builders, managing inventory, merchandising, and ensuring standards while delivering an exceptional Guest experience.

Qualifications

• 2 years of store management experience in a customer-centric environment.
• Experience leading a team and driving store performance.
• Familiarity with POS, scheduling, HRIS and attendance systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Workshop Manager in determining associates’ daily tasks and priorities.
• Lead and motivate the team, coaching Bear Builders to deliver a high-quality Guest experience.
• Oversee inventory management, receiving, stocking, and counts.
• Ensure merchandising displays adhere to brand standards and create an inviting store environment.
• Support recruitment, training and promotion decisions for staff.
