Potbelly Sandwich Works in Illinois is seeking a skilled Manager to lead a fast-paced Potbelly shift. You will train, coach and develop Associates and Shift Leaders while ensuring top customer service and safety standards.

This role offers a $50,000–$55,000 base salary with bonus potential, competitive benefits, matching 401(k), and opportunities for career growth as you build strong teams in a busy kitchen.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years management experience in a restaurant or retail setting.
• Illinois applicants must become food safety certified within 30 days of employment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong problem-solving skills.
• Able to work 45+ hours per week, stand 8–9 hours daily, and multitask.
• Open availability preferred.

Responsabilités

• Train, coach and develop Associates and Shift Leaders.
• Effectively interview and hire Associates and Shift Leaders.
• Schedule Associates and maintain labor goals.
• Drive neighborhood shop marketing and promotions to maximize sales.
• Ensure cash handling procedures and security standards are followed.
• Maintain health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safety.
