Job summary

Checkers & Rally’s is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in executing the restaurant plan, achieving sales and profits, and ensuring excellent Guest and Team service. You will help interview and hire Team Members, train staff, and monitor compliance with policies and procedures.

The role emphasizes coaching, maintaining a safe and clean dining environment, and delivering a fast-paced, high-quality experience for Guests and employees alike.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years restaurant management experience, preferably in Quick Service Restaurants (QSR).
• Food Safety Certified.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedule and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with executing the restaurant plan and achieving sales and profits goals.
• Build sales and profits by promoting Guest satisfaction and managing restaurant operations.
• Assist with interviewing and hiring the right Team Members.
• Ensure policy and procedures are followed on shifts.
• Train Team Members on operations, policies and Guest service.
• Respond to complaints and policy violations with appropriate action.
• Provide feedback and coaching to Team Members on performance.
