Job summary

Checkers & Rally’s is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in executing restaurant plans, driving sales and profits, and delivering exceptional guest and team service. You will help ensure we are the 1st Choice for guests and employees by upholding company procedures and leading a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities include interviewing and hiring, training, coaching, and maintaining a safe, clean environment while promoting a high-energy, customer-focused culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Food Safety Certification is required/preferred.
• 1–2 years restaurant management experience, preferably in QSR.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Microsoft Office and general systems experience.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedule and extended hours.
• High energy to keep up with a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build sales and profits by promoting guest satisfaction and managing restaurant operations.
• Escalate concerns or recommendations to the General Manager.
• Assist with interviewing and hiring Team Members.
• Ensure policy and procedures are followed on shifts.
• Train Team Members on operations, policies, and guest service.
• Identify and respond to complaints and policy violations.
• Provide regular feedback and coaching to Team Members.
• Help ensure a safe, clean, and fun environment for staff and guests.
