Job summary

Checkers & Rally’s is hiring an Assistant Manager to assist the General Manager in executing the restaurant plan and achieving sales and profits goals. You will lead training, hiring, and shift operations, ensuring compliance with policies and maintaining a safe, clean, and energetic environment for guests and team members.

The role emphasizes guest service, team development, and the ability to work a flexible schedule in a fast-paced quick-service setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Food Safety certified.
• 1-2 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in QSR.
• Basic math skills.
• Microsoft Office and general systems experience.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Build sales and profits by promoting Guest satisfaction and managing restaurant operations.
• Escalate concerns or recommendations with the restaurant, employees or Guests to the General Manager.
• Assist with interviewing and hiring the right Team Members.
• Ensure policy and procedures are followed on shifts.
• Train Team Members on operations, Company policies and procedures and Guest service.
• Identify and respond to complaints and policy and procedure violations.
• Provide regular feedback and coaching to Team Members on their performance.
• Help ensure the restaurant is a safe, clean and fun environment for our employees and Guests.
