Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager in the United States. You will assist the General Manager in operations, supervise team members, drive staff training, and ensure a clean, safe, and efficient dining experience for guests.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, staffing and inventory oversight, administrative tasks, and maintaining high customer service standards while resolving guest concerns with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year in retail management.
• Experience running shifts without supervision and ability to coach staff.
• Strong communication and math/computer literacy for daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Team / Crew Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Directs and assigns employees to ensure all food service standards are met.
• Adheres to the employee handbook, policies and practices.
• Performs opening and/or closing duties.
• Monitors staffing, inventory levels and food cost control.
• Completes weekly inventory as needed.
• Assists in administrative duties including maintaining files and records.
• Reinforces a customer service mentality and focuses on guest satisfaction.
• Responds to guest requests and resolves complaints with supervision.
