Job summary

Sonic Drive-In in Taos, NM is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in running daily drive-in operations. You will train and supervise Team Members, Carhops, and Skating Carhops, ensure safety and quality, and help deliver a friendly guest experience.

This role requires flexibility, the ability to work nights and weekends, and strong communication skills to lead a busy team and maintain high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year of retail management experience.
• Experience supervising shifts without supervision.
• Strong communication and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Team Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Directs and assigns staff to meet service standards.
• Monitors staffing levels, inventory, and food cost control.
• Performs opening and/or closing duties.
• Reinforces a customer service mindset and resolves guest complaints.
• Assists in administrative duties and documentation.
