Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager in Albuquerque to support the General Manager in running the drive-in and to lead training for Team Members, Carhops, and Skating Carhops. You’ll help ensure clean, safe, and efficient operations and a consistently great guest experience.

The role requires strong leadership, flexible hours, and the ability to manage staffing, inventory, and administrative duties while upholding SONIC’s standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry-level retail management.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and math/readiness with basic computer skills.
• Willingness to follow policies and maintain hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the GM in managing drive-in operations and staffing.
• Train and support Team Members, Carhops, and skaters to ensure quality service.
• Direct and assign staff to meet service standards and control food cost.
• Perform opening/closing duties and monitor inventory levels weekly.
• Maintain files, records and required documentation; promote customer service.
