Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Espanola, New Mexico, seeks an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in running daily drive-in operations. You will train team members, supervise carhops, and ensure quality food, safety and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Six months of restaurant management or one year of entry-level retail management experience.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication, basic math, reading and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing drive-in operations.
• Train and support Team Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Direct and assign staff to meet service standards.
• Perform opening and/or closing duties and monitor staffing levels.
• Ensure compliance with policies and maintain clean, safe operations.
• Resolve guest issues promptly and professionally.
