Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Truth or Consequences, NM is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in running the drive-in, train staff, ensure quality food in a clean, safe and efficient manner, and deliver an enjoyable guest experience.

You will supervise team members, manage shifts, monitor inventory and costs, handle opening/closing duties, and uphold appearance and hygiene standards while providing friendly service.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management experience required.
• Experience running shifts without supervision.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs and assigns drive-in restaurant employees to meet operational standards.
• Performs opening and/or closing duties.
• Monitors staffing levels, inventory and food cost control.
• Completes weekly inventory and maintains records.
• Trains and supports staff to ensure quality service and safety.
• Fosters a culture of excellent guest service and responds to guest feedback.
