Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Sioux City, IA is seeking an Assistant Manager to help run daily operations, train crew members, and ensure safe, clean, and fast service for guests. Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management experience.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and math, reading and computer skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work with autonomy while multi-tasking.
• Willingness to abide by appearance, uniform and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach Team Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Directs and assigns staff to meet service standards.
• Monitor compliance with employee handbook, policies and practices.
• Perform restaurant opening and/or closing duties.
• Monitor staffing, inventory, and food cost control.
• Complete weekly inventory as needed.
• Assist in administrative duties and documentation.
• Maintain a customer service focus and respond promptly to guest requests.
