World Market is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead sales and store operations, drive a customer-first selling culture, and manage daily priorities. You will oversee Customer Experience, Freight Flow, Operations, and Merchandising, adapting responsibilities to business needs and your strengths.

The role requires proven leadership in a fast-paced retail setting, strong communication, and the ability to coach and develop a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience delivering results, customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills, being open to feedback, and the ability to adapt quickly.
• Ability to provide in the moment coaching to associates.
• Ability to de-escalate store and customer situations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Model and lead a customer-first selling culture by driving engagement, customer loyalty initiatives, visual standards, and brand values.
• Analyze business trends utilizing all available reporting to problem-solve business opportunities and take appropriate action.
• Plan for and execute daily business tasks and duties assigned by and in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performance, customer-focused team that aligns with our company values.
