Job summary

Valiant Residential, LLC seeks an Assistant Maintenance to support the maintenance supervisor and uphold safety and policy standards across the property. You will assist with service requests, safety compliance, and basic preventive maintenance, collaborating with leasing to maximize renewals.

Ideal candidates bring two+ years of apartment maintenance experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, EPA certification, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of full-time experience in apartment maintenance or a related trade.
• English communication skills; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• EPA certification and a valid driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests within 24 hours.
• Assist in scheduling on-call rotations and provide maintenance support.
• Maintain safety materials and inspect property for unsafe conditions.
• Keep records of preventive maintenance and make-ready status of vacancies.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances.
