Texas Roadhouse, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to support the Kitchen Manager in overseeing daily Back of House operations, with duties including food preparation, ordering, receiving, and presentation of dishes.

The role emphasizes hands-on supervision, ensuring recipe compliance, safety, and high-quality service, while contributing to inventory management and staff development in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and oversees the production of food
• Monitors tickets and sets the pace during peak hours
• Manages through hands-on supervision of the restaurant, including non-scheduled assistance with serving, hosting, cooking, etc.
• Conducts formal line Taste and Temp checks
• Ensures proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
• Manages inventory and tracks waste
• Maintains cleanliness and proper maintenance of equipment
• Ensures consistency in food and service to increase sales
• Practices safe food handling procedures
• Ensures Back of House employees follow recipes and procedures
• Creates a safe environment and develops Back of House staff
• Maintains restaurant cleanliness and guest safety at all times
• Maintains the restaurant culture and core values of passion, integrity, partnership, and fun with purpose
