Job summary

Texas Roadhouse, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to support the Kitchen Manager in overseeing daily Back of House operations, including food production, ordering, receiving, preparation, and presentation of dishes.

You will supervise staff, monitor peak-hour pace, ensure safety, quality, and compliance with recipes, and contribute to inventory control and waste tracking. Salary ranges from $43,000 to $70,000 annually with a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and oversees the production of food
• Monitors tickets and sets the pace during peak hours
• Manages through hands-on supervision of the restaurant and assisting with serving, hosting, cooking, etc.
• Ensures proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
• Manages inventory and tracks waste under Kitchen Manager guidance
• Maintains cleanliness and proper maintenance of equipment
• Ensures consistency in food and service to increase sales
• Ensures Back of House employees follow established recipes and procedures
• Creates a safe environment and assists in developing Back of House employees
• Maintains safety of guests and restaurant during operations
