Job summary

Texas Roadhouse, Inc. is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to support the Kitchen Manager in overseeing the Back of House operations, including food preparation, ordering, receiving, and presentation of made-from-scratch dishes.

The role focuses on hands-on supervision, enforcing safety procedures, managing inventory, and maintaining consistent quality and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and oversees the production of food
• Enforces employment policies in area of responsibility
• Monitors tickets and sets the pace during peak hours
• Manages through hands-on supervision of the restaurant
• Conducts formal line Taste and Temp checks
• Ensures proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
• At Kitchen Manager direction, manages inventory and tracks waste
• Monitors and maintains cleanliness and proper maintenance of equipment
• Ensures consistency in food and service to increase sales
• Understands and practices safe food handling procedures
• Ensures Back of House employees follow established recipes and procedures
• Creates a safe environment and assists in developing Back of House employees
• Maintains restaurant cleanliness and guest safety
• Upholds culture and core values daily
