Job summary

Texas Roadhouse, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to support the Kitchen Manager in overseeing daily back-of-house operations and assist with ordering, receiving, preparation, and presentation of food.

You will supervise production, ensure safety and sanitation, monitor tickets during peak hours, and provide hands-on leadership to back-of-house staff to uphold recipes and procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising kitchen operations.
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Strong communication and training skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and oversees the production of food.
• Enforces employment policies in area of responsibility.
• Monitors tickets and sets the pace during peak hours.
• Hands-on supervision including serving, hosting, or cooking as needed.
• Ensures proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items.
• Manages inventory and tracks waste.
• Maintains cleanliness and proper maintenance of equipment.
