Texas Roadhouse, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to support the Kitchen Manager in leading daily Back of House operations, including food preparation, receiving, and presentation.

You will supervise production, enforce policies, monitor peak-hour tickets, manage inventory, ensure food safety, train staff, and uphold our culture of passion, integrity, partnership, and fun with purpose.

Qualifications

• Experience managing back-of-house operations in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Strong focus on food safety, proper handling, storage and rotation.
• Ability to train and develop restaurant staff and maintain high performance.

Responsabilités

• Supervises and oversees production of food.
• Enforces employment policies in area of responsibility.
• Monitors tickets and sets the pace during peak hours.
• Hands-on supervision across serving, hosting, cooking and related tasks.
• Conducts line taste and temp checks.
• Ensures proper handling, storage, and maintenance of all items.
• Manages inventory and tracks waste as directed by Kitchen Manager.
• Maintains cleanliness and proper maintenance of equipment.
• Ensures consistency in food and service to increase sales.
• Practices safe food handling procedures.
• Ensures recipes and procedures are followed by Back of House employees.
• Develops Back of House staff and maintains the restaurant culture.
• Maintains restaurant cleanliness and guest safety at all times.
