Job summary

Texas Roadhouse is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to support the Kitchen Manager in daily back-of-house operations, including food preparation, ordering, receiving, and presenting menu items.

You will supervise production, enforce policies, monitor tickets during peak hours, manage inventory, ensure safety and cleanliness, and help develop Back of House staff while upholding our culture of passion, integrity, partnership and fun with purpose.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and oversees the production of food.
• Enforces compliance with employment policies in area of responsibility.
• Monitors tickets and sets the pace during peak hours.
• Provides hands-on supervision of Back of House, including non-scheduled tasks.
• Conducts line Taste and Temp checks.
• Ensures proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items.
• Manages inventory and tracks waste.
• Maintains cleanliness and proper maintenance of equipment.
• Ensures consistency in food and service to increase sales.
• Develops Back of House staff and fosters a safe environment.
• Maintains restaurant cleanliness and guest safety.
