Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to guide kitchen staff toward daily goals, ensuring quality and guest satisfaction. You will work under the Kitchen Manager to maintain efficient operations and uphold standards during busy periods.

Responsibilities include monitoring budgets, coordinating with managers, maintaining safety and sanitation, and assisting in ordering and stock control. Strong communication and multitasking are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Basic sanitation, safety, and customer service skills are taught in-house.
• Must be able to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Work with Kitchen Manager to keep expenses within budget and identify improvements.
• Inform General Manager/Kitchen Manager of issues and suggest solutions.
• Maintain a clean and safe facility; monitor food temps for safety.
• Communicate clearly and concisely, in writing and verbally.
• Coordinate with vendors for equipment and supplies; manage walk-throughs and temperature checks.
• Assist in ordering and stocking food, produce, liquor and supplies; assist in receiving deliveries.
