Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking an Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager to drive the in-store experience and lead by example. You will work with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to recruit, train, and motivate Teammates while managing sales, merchandising, and daily operations.

You will train others, maintain customer service standards, and step in as Store Manager when needed, supporting Buckle’s mission and guest experience goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months retail experience or training; or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel to other Buckle stores within district.

Responsibilities

• Provide legendary Guest service across the store areas (front, floor, fitting rooms, register).
• Assist in training and motivating Teammates and lead in the Store Manager's absence.
• Recruit, develop, and coach Teammates; lead by example with showmanship.
• Drive sales through product knowledge, SPG adherence, and loyalty programs.
• Oversee visual merchandising, floor sets, and zone ownership.
• Support operations: opening/closing, POS procedures, loss prevention.
