Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking an Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager and Leadership Team in delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving sales, merchandising, and store operations.

This role blends frontline coaching with leadership duties, including recruiting Teammates and stepping in as Store Manager when needed. You will train teammates, uphold Buckle standards, manage daily tasks, and participate in planning sales goals and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related retail experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Sales Generation and Guest Service: greet guests, answer questions, assist with finding merchandise, and achieve sales goals.
• Teammate Recruiting, Training and Development: recruit, train and motivate teammates, uphold standards and leadership.
• Visual Merchandise Management: maintain visual standards and set up displays.
• Operations: manage schedules, loss prevention, POS procedures, and daily store operations.
• Supervisory and Leadership: provide feedback, coach teammates, and lead by example.
