Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help oversee gym operations and deliver a Judgement Free member experience while driving financial results. You will join our management team and lead a high-performing staff.

We are looking for motivated leaders to grow their careers within our brand. The ideal candidate has retail management and customer service experience, strong team leadership, CPR certification, and a passion for developing staff.

Qualifications

• Superior customer service skills, preferably in fitness.
• Experience as a Member Service Representative at Planet Fitness is preferred.
• Strong supervisory, diplomacy and listening skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
• Current CPR Certification required (can complete upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, hiring and developing a high performing staff.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and ensure superior customer service.
• Support Club Manager and staff scheduling.
• Oversee front desk activities and member sign-ups.
• Track statistics and reports weekly, monthly, and annually.
• Provide backup support when staff is absent.
• Work five days per week, 40–45 hours.
