Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee gym operations and deliver a top-notch, Judgement Free Zone experience for members. You will drive sales, recruit and train staff, and uphold a welcoming atmosphere while supporting the Club Manager with daily operations.

The role is full-time (40 hours/week) with potential evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs. Strong leadership and customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee gym operations to ensure a high quality member experience.
• Manage recruiting, hiring, and training of staff.
• Maintain welcoming atmosphere for members and guests, ensuring service standards.
• Supervise staff and provide backup to Club Manager as needed.
• Schedule and supervise staff to cover all shifts.
• Oversee front desk activities: greet members, check-in, tours.
• Handle member requests and issue resolution, escalate when needed.
• Support cleanliness and maintenance of facility and inventory control.
