Job summary

Planet Fitness in the United States is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee gym operations and ensure a top-tier, Judgement Free Zone experience for members. This full-time position requires a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

You will lead a team of Member Service Representatives, Trainers, and Custodians, drive sales, and support staff in delivering exceptional customer service and a welcoming atmosphere. Training and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Commitment to excellent service.
• Previous management experience is preferred.
• Current CPR Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to club monthly and yearly goals.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing a high performing staff.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all members and guests with superior customer service guidelines.
• Provide backup support to Club Manager and assist in scheduling and supervising staff.
• Front desk duties: answer phones, check members in, assist with sign-ups and tours.
• Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of facility and manage supplies within budget.
