Job summary

Pura Vida Miami is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead a guest-focused team in a fast-paced environment. You will educate guests about our nutrient-rich offerings, promote health benefits, and foster a welcoming atmosphere for both customers and staff.

You will partner with the General Manager on inventory control, staffing, and operations while ensuring food safety compliance and top-notch service. Fluency in English and Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of proven experience in customer service in the hospitality/restaurant industry.
• 2+ years of proven managerial experience in the hospitality/restaurant industry.
• High School Diploma or GED; 2 years of college preferred.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Local/municipal requirements, such as Food Handler certification.
• Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team with clear communication and positive example.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve issues professionally.
• Motivate staff to exceed customer expectations and maintain a clean, inviting environment.
• Collaborate with General Manager to manage inventory, labor, and procedures.
• Maintain staffing plans to support volume fluctuations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Support supervisory functions including hiring, performance appraisals, and coaching.
