Job summary

Pura Vida Miami is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead a team in delivering a warm, health-conscious guest experience. You will coach staff, supervise daily operations, and ensure excellent service while highlighting the nutritional benefits of our recipes.

You will collaborate with the General Manager on inventory, staffing, and operational procedures, maintain food safety standards, and drive a welcoming, high-performance environment for guests and team members alike.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of proven experience in customer service in the hospitality and/or restaurant industry.
• 2+ years of proven managerial experience in the hospitality and/or restaurant industry.
• High School Diploma or GED; 2 years of college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example with positivity and clear communication across the team.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve issues efficiently.
• Motivate and guide staff to exceed customer expectations and provide a clean, inviting environment.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to manage inventory, labor, and procedures.
• Establish staffing plans to support volume fluctuations.
• Uphold food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
• Supervise hiring decisions, performance appraisals, coaching and development.
• Organize, schedule, and supervise team shifts for smooth operations.
• Direct staff on the floor to ensure smooth operations and address issues promptly.
• Monitor expo station to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
