Job summary

KidStrong Timonium is seeking an Assistant General Manager to drive the center’s programs and sales. You will partner with the General Manager to foster a learning culture, coach a team, and deliver strong member outcomes.

You will manage operations, schedules, events, and coaching quality while focusing on customer service and center profitability. The role requires energy, leadership, and excellent communication with families and staff.

Qualifications

• Athletic coaching background with kids aged 15 months to 11 years.
• Aspire to coach certification through HQ Training and Certification.
• Must complete HQ LearnUpon training as required.
• Experience in pediatric OT/PT is a plus, not required.
• Previous management experience preferred, not required.
• Proficient with Google and Microsoft, and familiarity with ZenPlanner/ADP.
• CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Understand center KPIs and financials to guide decisions.
• Build relationships with families and provide exceptional service.
• Oversee center initiatives: maintenance, training, branding.
• Maintain daily/weekly/monthly cleaning and prep.
• Schedule shifts including weekend work; manage events.
• Lead coaching staff and onboard/train candidates.
• Record data in KS Coaches App (attendance, awards).
