Job summary

KidStrong is seeking an Assistant General Manager for our Charlotte center. You’ll be second in command, partnering with the GM to foster a culture of learning and growth for coaches and families, coach classes weekly, and run the center on duty when the GM is off, ensuring every kid, family and team member has an exceptional experience.

You’ll help drive sales and member retention, supervise staff, coordinate programming, manage scheduling and events, and communicate with parents to build trust

Qualifications

• Confidence talking with parents and guardians about memberships and programs.
• Customer service or sales experience is a strong plus.
• Management experience is preferred but not required.
• CPR certification, or willingness to get certified within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Coach kids from crawling to about 11 years old using the curriculum focused on brain, physical and character development.
• Work hands-on with kids to ensure proper technique and safety.
• Explain the "why" behind the KidStrong curriculum clearly.
• Demonstrate and help roll out new programming and curriculum elements.
• Schedule: Full-time, ~40 hours/week, typically four weekdays and one weekend day.
