Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in aquatics or youth programming.
• Natural coach who provides feedback early and often.
• Comfortable using digital tools and quick to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Keep lessons running on time, on brand, and at high quality each shift.
• Coach instructors on skill evaluation to base moves on readiness.
• Use attendance data to spot issues and adjust in real time.
• Review performance trends daily and align expectations with staff.
• Lead new hires through training and onboarding.
• Conduct formal evaluations and assist with staffing decisions.
• Maintain staff certifications and ensure records are current.
• Plan skill-based events and quarterly swim meets.
• Own safety culture on the pool deck and train staff on EAP.
• Manage coverage and staffing decisions during call-outs or gaps.
• Serve as Manager on Duty and oversee aquatics, front desk, and facilities.
