Applegreen USA Welcome Centers is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help the General Manager ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This role offers an entry-level path to learn essential leadership and discretion skills in a fast-paced service environment.

You will lead a team, coach shifts, uphold brand standards, handle cash processes, and resolve customer needs while fostering a positive workplace culture across our locations.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent customer service abilities and positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Basic food safety understanding and practice.
• Ability and willingness to lift/push objects weighing over 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate business objectives.
• Supervise day-to-day operations and assign work to non-management staff.
• Step in to perform duties in the absence of the general manager.
• Motivate staff and maintain morale, especially during low periods.
• Ensure brand standards, store policies, and cash handling procedures are followed.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues to build long-term relationships.
