Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager and help daily operations run smoothly. This entry-level management track offers hands-on learning in supervision, coaching, and decision making.

You’ll supervise non-management staff, set goals, foster teamwork, handle guest needs, and maintain brand standards while ensuring cash and inventory controls are in place to deliver outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and management abilities

• Clear verbal and written communication
• Basic food safety understanding and practice
• Ability to lift/push objects weighing over 30 lbs

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate objectives clearly.
• Oversee day-to-day supervision of non-management staff, assign duties, and coach shifts supervisors.
• Fill in for the general manager as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
• Motivate staff and maintain morale during challenging times.
• Maintain brand standards and ensure the restaurant looks clean and inviting.
• Ensure cash handling is accurate and daily reports are produced as required.
• Resolve customer issues promptly to maintain positive relationships.
• Monitor inventory data with spot counts and checks.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
