Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support daily operations and oversee store performance. You will learn management skills and exercise discretion to support the General Manager in running the business.

The role emphasizes leadership, customer service, and adherence to brand standards, with opportunities to grow into higher management as the team develops.

Qualifications

• Leadership and management skills with ability to motivate a team.
• Excellent customer service abilities and positive attitude.
• Strong verbal and written communication with business acumen.
• Basic food safety understanding and practice.
• Ability to lift/push objects over 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate objectives clearly.
• Supervise non-management staff, assign work, coach shifts supervisors, ensure operation performance.
• Be able to perform duties in the absence of the general manager.
• Motivate staff, especially during times of low morale.
• Ensure brand standards, procedures, and policies are followed.
• Maintain cash management and prepare reports daily as directed.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues to sustain positive relationships.
• Maintain accurate inventory through spot counts and checks.
