Applegreen is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in daily operations across its travel plazas. The role offers entry-level managers a pathway to learn essential management skills and exercise discretion in decision-making.

Responsibilities include delivering feedback, coaching shifts supervisors, supervising staff, and ensuring brand standards, cash handling, and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent customer service abilities and positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills with a sharp business acumen.
• 2+ years experience in quick service restaurant or similar management operations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate business objectives.
• Supervise non-management associates, assign work, coach and develop shifts supervisors.
• Be capable of performing duties in the absence of the general manager.
• Motivate staff during times of low morale.
• Ensure company policies and brand standards are followed, and cash management is accurate.
