Applegreen USA seeks an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in daily operations across our travel plazas. This entry-level management role offers hands-on training in supervising staff, delivering performance feedback, and ensuring brand standards and exceptional guest service.

You will help manage schedules, cash handling, inventory, and guest relations while fostering a positive team culture and learning core leadership skills to advance within the company.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping people grow the business.
• Strong leadership and management skills with proven ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent customer service abilities and positive attitude
• Excellent verbal and communication skills with a sharp business acumen
• 2+ years experience in quick service restaurant or similar management operations
• Flexible and open work schedule
• Basic food safety understanding and practice.
• Ability and willingness to lift/push objects weighing over 30 Lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate business objectives.
• Oversee day-to-day supervision of non-management staff, assign work, coach shifts supervisors.
• Step in for the general manager when needed.
• Motivate staff and maintain morale.
• Ensure brand standards, cash handling, and daily reporting.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues to build long-term relationships.
• Maintain inventory accuracy with spot counts.
